Amira and Karim N’Diaye are still a little jet-lagged after flying in from Dakar, Senegal but they wouldn’t have missed Rod and Danielle’s wedding for the world.

Very best wishes to the happy couple!

  1. It is wonderful that Rod and Danielle's guests are traveling from near and far. Amira and Karim N’Diaye do look great in their native attire.

The plate of waffles and fruit looks yummy!

  2. Nice couple. I love thir attire. I can just kick myself for not buying Tariq when I had the chance. Love the tutorial as always.

  3. Amira and Karim look awesome! I am excited that they are coming all the way from Senegal. Love their attire. You should put some of your handmade fashions in your Etsy store. I, too, am kicking myself for not buying Tariq, or even the first Darius that came out that looks just like him. Thanks for reminding me I need to get those waffles listed.

  4. Thanks for your compliments ladies. Tariq was hard to come by. There was no price on him in the Wal-Mart where I found him and I had to wait forever for the clerks to do a price check. I was determined not to leave the store without him, however.

Ironically, I no longer have these two dolls or their outfits. I customized them as part of the portfolio I submitted when I applied to study fashion design at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I didn't get in but they don't return application portfolios. Fortunately I have several more of those Janay and Tariq dolls.
